The Live Like Benjo Foundation was created October of 2014 after the tragic death by Shallow Water Blackout of Benjamin "Benjo" C. Haller. Growing up in Underhill, Vermont Benjo had access to all of his favorite hobbies. He was an avid sailor, diver, sailing and SCUBA Instructor and skier. After college he lived his dream of sailing his boat ‘Momma Dance’ thousands of miles from Malletts Bay, VT to the Bahamas.
On August 1st, 2014 Benjo drowned in only seven feet of water while spearfishing off Harbour Island, Bahamas. He was 27.
Benjo brought joy into every person’s life he touched. He was adventurous, fun, and his spirit infectious! We want to celebrate and promote these attributes as they are so uncommon and yet so important!
