As the Founder of Live Like Benjo, I wanted to honor and memorialize my son who packed a lot into his short life. It was through him that I lived vicariously in several of his many activities and passions. Our Foundation's mission is to encourage everybody to live life to its fullest the way Benjo did and not through others, but rather to Love the Life you Live and Live the Life you Love, One of Benjo’s favorite sayings was: “If you aren’t living on the edge you are taking up too much space". Benjo didn’t take up any space.

I have found it to be a privilege to be a board member of the Live Like Benjo Foundation. Ben Haller was an extraordinary young man with an insatiable desire to live life at its fullest. I identify with and have great respect for all he accomplished. I also share the foundation’s goal to keep his spirit alive by providing life changing opportunities for challenged youth and educating swimmers of the risks contributing to Shallow Water Blackout.

What gets me excited about the Live Like Benjo Foundation is the opportunity to carry forward a message and mission that changes peoples lives for the better!

It's a privilege and honor to serve as board treasurer and Live Like Benjo Foundation member. As a friend of the Haller family for a very long time, it is important to me to help them carry on the Benjo's incredible spirit and zest for life through the philanthropic work the foundation is doing to share his passions in life with young people who might not otherwise have an opportunity to experience the things that Benjo loved so much - sailing, skiing, and scuba. Equally important is the foundation's educational programs, which will help prevent Shallow Water/Hypoxic Blackout.

I recently joined the Live Like Benjo Foundation in the spring of 2024. I’m a creative thinker and problem solver by nature. I grew up in Underhill, VT next door to Benjo Haller and his family. I’m committed to keeping his spirit alive, inspiring others, and educating communities about the serious risk of Shallow Water Blackout through the LLBF.

I am a part of the Live Like Benjo Foundation to carry on the legacy of Benjamin C. Haller’s infectious enthusiasm for life by helping to share his passions wit local youth. And by speeding the dangers of Shallo Water/Hypoxic Blackout to prevent esles tragetie that could befall others.
